Details on session fees, insurance, and sliding scale availability.
Insurance Based
If you’d like to use insurance, I currently see clients through two trusted tele-health platforms—Grow Therapy and Sondermind —that provide a streamlined process for verifying your benefits and scheduling appointments, allowing you to confidently prioritize your wellness.
Private Pay
$150 per session
Paying out of pocket offers you the greatest flexibility and privacy, allowing you to engage in therapy on your terms without involving insurance. This direct approach simplifies the process, giving you full control over your care while maintaining confidentiality and fostering a focused, personalized therapeutic experience.
Sliding Scale
$40/$70 per session
I’m a proud member of the Open Path Collective, a nonprofit dedicated to making quality therapy accessible and affordable by offering sliding scale fees. Through this partnership, I’m able to support those seeking compassionate care at a range of price points—learn more or apply below to see if this option is right for you.
I'm licensed to provide online therapy for adults in Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Vermont, and Washington, D.C.
You Might Be Wondering…
Who do you work with?
I work with adults navigating life changes, stress, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and the lingering effects of past trauma.
I offer a supportive space where you can explore your experiences, feel understood, and move toward the changes you want to see in your life.
What is your approach or style?
I draw from several therapy approaches to best fit your needs:
Trauma-Informed Care: I provide a safe, judgment-free space where you set the pace and your story is respected.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): We’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and actions connect, and find small shifts that can make a big difference.
Solution-Focused Therapy: We’ll build on what’s already working and create practical steps to move you forward.
Person-Centered Therapy: You guide the process while I offer steady, nonjudgmental support.
Insight-Oriented Therapy: Together, we’ll explore patterns and beliefs so you can understand yourself more deeply and grow in lasting ways.
How will I know if therapy is working?
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
Are you able to complete letters, such as: FMLA, Disability, Service Animal, Insurance or legal documents?
I understand these requests are important, but I do not provide documentation for FMLA, disability claims, service animals, legal cases, or similar evaluations. My focus is on providing therapeutic support and helping you navigate the challenges you’re facing in your daily life. If you need formal documentation, I can guide you toward professionals or resources better suited for those assessments.
What if I’m nervous about starting therapy?
That’s completely normal. Opening up to someone new can feel intimidating. My role is to make the process as comfortable as possible. You set the pace, and we’ll take it one step at a time. It’s okay to start slowly—what matters is that you’ve taken the first step.
What can I expect in the first session?
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I’ll ask questions about what brought you to therapy, your history, and what you’re hoping to achieve. You don’t have to have all the answers—we’ll figure things out together. You can also ask me questions about my approach, and we’ll decide together if moving forward feels right.
How often will we meet?
Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and trust. As we progress, we may shift to biweekly or monthly meetings depending on your needs and goals. We’ll make that decision together so it feels supportive, not overwhelming.
What happens if I'm in an emergency mental health situation??
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or feel unsafe, please do not use this website or wait for an appointment.
Call 911 or your local emergency number right away.
You can also dial or text 988 in the U.S. to connect with the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline for immediate support.
This practice is not able to provide 24/7 crisis services. If you are in immediate danger or need urgent help, please reach out to emergency services or crisis resources right away.
How will I know if you are a good fit?
The best way to know is to simply start a conversation. In our first session, you’ll get a feel for my style, how I listen, and how we might work together. I’ll also be learning about your needs, goals, and what you’re hoping to get out of therapy.
A good fit usually feels like this: you feel safe, understood, and not judged. You feel like you can be yourself, even if it’s messy. And you sense that I “get” you enough to help you move toward the changes you want. If at any point you don’t feel that connection, I’ll support you in finding another therapist who might be a better match—because what matters most is that you get the support you need.
How long will I need therapy?
There’s no one-size-fits-all answer. Some people come for a few months to work through a specific challenge; others stay longer for ongoing support and personal growth. We’ll regularly check in on your progress so you feel clear about where we’re headed.
Do you offer online therapy, and where can clients access your services?
Yes, I offer secure tele-health sessions, so you can connect from the comfort of your own home or any private space. All you need is a device with a camera and a reliable internet connection.
I currently provide online mental health therapy for adults located in Maryland, Virginia, South Carolina, Vermont, and Washington D.C. Wherever you are in these states, support is just a click away.
Cancellation policy?
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. Cancellations or reschedules require 24 hours' notice.
Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours notice, or missed without notice, will be charged the full session fee of $150.
Exceptions may be made in the case of emergencies.
This policy helps ensure I can offer appointment times to other clients who may be waiting.
Every turn asks something of you. With steady support, you can meet this moment with more ease, more clarity, and the strength to keep going — as the path unfolds.
